Easter at the Wilton Firehouse

Even with a less than optimal forecast, the community turned out to visit the Easter Bunny on Saturday.
Games, food and fun were had by all.

The annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held at the Wilton Fire Station at 270 Ballard Road on Saturday, April 23, 2011 from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.

Many fun activities will be available for kids of all ages.

Statewide Recruitment Drive

Throughout the day, the firefighters will conduct tours of the station and firefighter apparatus, allow visitors to try on turnout gear, and provide activities and stations throughout the firehouse for visitors to participate in. The fire department will discuss the requirements to be a volunteer, as well as conduct demonstrations, answer questions, and let visitors know how to get involved in the fire department.

“Drive-Through” Car Wash was a Success!

On Saturday, February 26, the Wilton Volunteer Fire Department hosted a “Drive-Through” Car Wash. Donations towards the South Glens Falls High School Marathon Dance totaled $414 with a total of 47 vehicles being washed, one being a 35′ Motor Home!!! Great Job to everyone involved, thank you for your support!
